Thousands Gather for “Day of Gratitude”
NDVS joined thousands of veterans, service members, military families, and community supporters for the second annual Day of Gratitude at Allegiant Stadium on June6, 2026. The free event honored military service while commemorating the 82nd anniversary of D-Day.
The celebration began with a moving ceremony recognizing the men and women who served during World War II, followed by live music, gratitude gifts, and opportunities for attendees to connect with organizations offering valuable resources and support.
NDVS staff were on hand throughout the event, providing information about connecting to earned benefits as well as programs and services available to Nevada’s veterans and their families.
The tremendous turnout highlighted the community’s continued commitment to honoring the sacrifices of those who have served and ensuring veterans and their families remain connected to the benefits and support they have earned.
